This time the situation in Belgium is very precarious. There the research with non human primates is in danger. Therefore researchers from Belgium are asking for your support.
Prof Rufin Vogels, president from the Belgian Society for Neuroscience and his colleagues formulated a petition to the ministers of the EU and the members of its parliament.
We, from the Basel Declaration Society, support this petition, because it is the interest of all researchers, especially in Europa, that we do not lose our position in research. All national prohibitions will spill over to other countries - this will be sure.
